Miscanthus is a crop in which farmers invest for more than 20 years. That is why Novabiom is committed to supporting producers by supplying them with Miscanthus giganteus rhizomes and a range of services to optimize and secure crop establishment:

High quality rhizomes
We produce Miscanthus giganteus rhizomes in our nurseries in France at the end of winter. We sort them carefully and then store them at controlled humidity and temperature until they are planted.
Novabiom has a unique production capacity, with a cumulative production of over 200 million rhizomes and an annual production sufficient to plant 800 to 1,000 hectares, with a capacity of up to 2,000 hectares.
We have implemented a comprehensive quality approach across the company. The quality of rhizome production is a concern for our entire team. We monitor the quality of the rhizomes from harvesting to planting, and carry out germination tests both in-house and through an independent specialist company. We organize deliveries as and when planting takes place, so that the rhizomes arrive on the plots with the best possible germination quality.
We package the rhizomes in big bags of 10,000 units.

The 26 Novabiom planters enable each plot to be planted at the optimal time. Our eight agricultural advisors and our numerous, reliable, and highly mobile planters enable us to be responsive and to organize each project when the conditions for preparing the plot are optimal.
The planters are regularly maintained and upgraded. We aim for zero breakdowns.
Equipped with dual depth adjustment, a density management system, a hectare counter, and microgranule dispensers, they can be adapted to a variety of situations.

Easy contact with an on-site presence at the farm to work with you to identify the most suitable plots for your planting project, during the start-up phase of planting, and then during weed control monitoring.
We provide a Best Practices Guide that brings together Novabiom's 20 years of expertise in crop planting. Appointments with your advisor are supplemented by follow-up and availability by phone, text message, and email. Considering the suitability of the plot, the location of the plots, the direction of planting, the impact of plot size... these are just some of the issues discussed during the first on-site meeting.
