Review of the IFM (Interprofession Française du Miscanthus) press conference on June 10, 2025

Organized around the theme: "Presentation of the French Miscanthus Interprofession (IFM) and its actions", this conference highlighted the ambitions of the miscanthus sector and the concrete prospects that accompany them. 

TheIFM has been officially recognized by the public authorities since March 6, 2025, making it a structuring step for this fast-growing sector.

Present at the press conference were :

  • Cyril Cogniard, SCEA de la Tuilerie, miscanthus grower, IFM chairman
  • Manoël Couprie, Novabiom, President of APPM (Producers of Miscanthus Plants)
  • Samuel MAIGNAN, DÉSHYOUEST, President of ATM (Miscanthus Transformers)

A number of speakers also shared their experience of the different outlets:

  • Philippe Logeay - ComCom des Sablons (60): water & heating protection
  • Fabrice Guerot - GAEC de La Voie Lactée (53): animal litter
  • Nicolas Haye - EARL Le Clos des Noes (35): poultry litter
  • Stéphane Trumtel - Manager at CSGV (51): vineyard mulching

The conference was attended by journalists from national agricultural media, who came to find out more about the industry's progress and future challenges.
